September 20/18 – Part 6 -Percé, Quebec to Nackawic, New Brunswick – Are we there yet?

I remember uttering these words to my parents as a child on a short drive (2-3 hours) some 55 years ago. But, this trip is different. Don’t get me wrong, we are happy to be at Linda and Lloyd’s in Nackawic. We are happy to be at rest at last, for a while, but this journey has been an adventure all the way across this freaking huge country.

Here is a summary to date:

  • 6,470.1 km (4,043.8 miles)
  • 4 time zones
  • 6 provinces traveled through
  • 14 hotel/home/B & B stops
  • 19 days from point A to Point B
  • 6 friends visited
  • 12 relatives visited
  • gas prices varying from $1.109 to $1.449/liter
  • 3 days with some rain
  • 1 boat ride on a lake

We are stopped here for 3 nights, then off to see my brother in Nova Scotia before doing some touring with Linda and Lloyd and back to their place until October 9, when we will begin our homeward trek. Thanks for joining us for the ride. Allan
